General terms and conditions

Article 1 : Length of the stay
The Hirer, signatory to the said agreement made for a specified period, will not be able in any circumstance to avail himself of any residual right whatsoever in the property after the end of the stay.

Article 2 : Conclusion of the contract
This contract comes into force once the proprietor has received the 25% deposit and a signed copy of this contract.The contract is signed and returned by the proprietor as soon as he receives the deposit. The rent concluded between the parts of the present contract can benefit on no account, even partially,in thirds, being physical or moral persons, except agreement written by the owner. Any infringement with the last subparagraph would be likely to involve the immediate cancellation of the hiring, to the wrongs of the tenant, the product of the hiring remaining definitively sure with the owner.

Article 3 : Cancellation by the tenant
Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner.
a) Cancellation before arrival
The deposit will be kept by the owner.If the cancellation takes place less than 15 days before the date of the stay, the total deposit is kept by the owner.
If the tenant does not show up within 24 hours of the start of the rental period will be null and void and the owner is at liberty to re-let the property. The total of the rental amount shall remain the owner’s property.
b)If the stay is cut short, the tenant still remains liable for the totality of the agreed rental. Paid fees will not be refunded.

Article 4 : Cancellation by the owner
The owner gives back the totality of the deposit and an indemnity equal to the deposit.

Article 5 : Arrival
The tenant must present himself on the date and at the time stated on the contract. In the case of a late or delayed arrival, the tenant must inform the owner.

Article 6:Paiement of the rental balance
The balance of the rental cottage charge will be paid to the owner at least 15 days before the arrival.

Article 7: Etat des lieux
Un inventaire est établi avec le locataire de l’arrivée du gîte. Cet inventaire est la seule référence en cas de litige concernant l’état des lieux.

Article 8: Deposit against damage
A security deposit, whose amount is written on the present contract is demanded by the owner.It must be paid at the same time as the balance of the stay. After establishing the inventory upon departure, this deposit will be returned (after deduction of any damages) within one week.

Article 9 : Use of the property
The tenant will have to assure the peaceful character of the rent and make use of it according to the destination of places.

Article 10 : Capacity
This contract if for a maximum capacity of 12 persons. If the number of persons is over the stated capacity the owner can refuse all extra persons. Any contract modification or cancellation will be considered at the tenant’s initiative.

Article 11 : Animals
The present contract states that no animals are accepted. If this clause is not observed, the owner can refuse the stay. In that case, no refund will be made.

Article 12 : Insurance
The tenant is responsible of any damage caused his occipation of the property. It is incumbent on the Hirer and the Hirer’s party to be covered by a holiday insurance covering this type of risk.
